Wedding Dog Handling

Let us be your doggy’s wedding date on on the big day so they are one less worry for you.

They are family after all.

You want your dog there but you don’t want one more thing to think about… You’d ask your friend Tim to be the “dog guy” but he might be having too much fun and your bridesmaids have already taken on so much. Let us be your dog’s plus one so they can celebrate with you without adding to the stress!

Pre-wedding and day of services include:

  • Assessing if and how your dog should have a role at your wedding.

  • Training for sitting and staying for photos, in the ceremony or carrying items down the aisle, etc.

  • Grooming prep for photos and handling and assitance during photo shoots.

  • Providing walks, breaks, meals, enrichment and quiet as needed.

  • Dog handling throughout wedding events.

  • Drop offs and pickups at lodging as needed.

We serve the greater Kootenay Region and will travel farther through special arrangement.

Packages

    CHAPERONE

    - 30 minute meet and greet at our Nelson office pre-wedding.

    -Dog handler or support during photos and ceremony.

    -Ongoing pampering and social breaks as needed.

    -After festivities walk, feed and return to accommodations.

    -Photo documentation of the dog’s day.

    -4 Hours total service

    DATE

    All of the Chaperone services with the addition of:

    - Morning pickup and walk.

    -Basic grooming and prep for photos.

    -Accompaniment to days events as needed or other chosen activity.

    - 8 hours total service

    $600

  • BEST MATE

    Choose Chaperone or Date services plus:

    -1 hour initial consult and 2 follow up training sessions before the wedding.

    - Training can be to brush up on manners, sit stay for photos, carry a sign or the ring down the aisle.
